The Wisden Book of the Year
Since 2003, Wisden’s reviewer has selected a Book of the Year, representing their personal view of the best new cricket book seen during the year. The winners have been as follows:

2006 Brim Full of Passion by Wasim Khan
An Asian cricketer’s account of his struggle to establish himself in first-class cricket.
2005 On and Off the Field by Ed Smith
Deep-thinking diary of a season for Kent and England.
2004 No Coward Soul by Stephen Chalke and Derek Hodgson
Biography of the unsung Yorkshire and England medium-pacer Bob Appleyard.
2003 Bodyline Autopsy by David Frith
The complete story of the controversial 1932-33 Ashes series.
Any new cricket book received by Wisden will be listed in the next edition of the almanack, and considered for review. It will also be treated as a submission for Wisden Book of the Year.
